Here’s an overview of what’s new or changed in the latest version of RUX Rentals, including solution revisions. 

If you self-manage updates, you should run the app update from your Business Central Admin Center. If you’re on the Update Protection Plan, this update will be applied for you.

Solution revisions

Solution revisions included in this release are: 

• Pro forma invoices in Rentals preserve shipped and invoiced quantities on rental sales lines when processed from the Rental Contract or Rental Invoicing Worksheet.
• With Advanced Sales Lines Shipping enabled, Rentals applies partial Dispatch Load shipments to rental contract sales lines using the delivered quantity, so Quantity Shipped and dispatch completion stay aligned until the remaining quantity is posted.
• Pro forma invoices in Rentals apply the VAT base using eligible rental amounts and shipped non-rental sales quantities, including Rental Invoicing Worksheet scenarios with mixed rental and rental sales lines when Advanced Sales Line Shipping is enabled.
• Rentals carries updated Sales Kit line quantities from Rental Quotes to Rental Contracts during Make Contract, so generated sales lines reflect the quantity entered on the quote.
• Pro forma invoices in Rentals apply the VAT base using eligible rental amounts and shipped non-rental sales quantities when Advanced Sales Line Shipping is enabled, including when generated from the Rental Invoicing Worksheet.
• Rentals keeps Auto Credit Memo header dimensions aligned with the related posted sales invoice or contract on early returns, so contract-level dimension overrides carry through to generated credit memos.
• Rentals carries populated Responsibility Center values from Rental Quotes to Rental Contracts during Make Contract, including values defaulted from customer, user setup, and company configuration.
• Rentals supports invoicing item-based rental contract lines with Bin Code and Project integration, allowing related Project Planning Lines to be created when linked inventory is sourced from a bin.
