What’s new or changed in version 16.1

Here’s an overview of what’s new or changed in the latest version of RUX Service, including solution revisions. 

 

If you self-manage updates, you should run the app update from your Business Central Admin Center. If you’re on the Update Protection Plan, this update will be applied for you.

New features & enhancements

New features and enhancements included in this release are: 

  • Added the ability to generate Service, Planned Maintenance, and Field tickets using a Copilot diagnostic. An error code or a description of the issue can be provided and Copilot will automatically suggest Ticket Lines and diagnostic information that can be added to a new ticket.
  • Extended the Service Ticket Exists field to also display on Sales Credit Memos and Posted Sales Credit Memos

  

Solution revisions

Solution revisions included in this release are: 

  • Clicking on the Service Ticket Exists field on a posted Planned Maintenance Ticket or Field Service Project will now open the correct document.
  • In the Report Selection - Service page, Custom Report fields are no longer shown by default and should not be used, and Email Body Layout should be used when Use For Email Body is selected.
  • When upgrading to a new version the Allow Technician field on existing Service Statues will default to True.
