Here’s an overview of what’s new or changed in the latest version of RUX Rentals & Service Connector, including solution revisions.
If you self-manage updates, you should run the app update from your Business Central Admin Center. If you’re on the Update Protection Plan, this update will be applied for you.

New features & enhancements
New features and enhancements included in this release are:
- Added an option in Service Management Setup to restrict shipping Rental Units if there is an open Delivery Inspection for that unit
- Enhanced the Consolidate Delivery/Return Inspections option to automatically add all Rental Units in a package with Delivery or Return Inspections to one ticket at the same time when that package is added or returned.
- When creating a Service Unit from a Rental Unit the location code of the Rental Unit will be copied to the Service Unit
Solution revisions
Solution revisions included in this release are:
- Rental Units inside packages will now properly trigger Delivery Inspections when they are added to a Rental Contract
- Entering a Rental Unit on a Rental Quote will no longer trigger delivery inspections
- When opening a Return Inspection immediately after it has been created will no longer cause the ticket to freeze
- Copying a Rental Unit with Create Service Unit enabled will no longer cause an error when there is a Service Unit with a blank link no.
- Creating a Delivery Inspection when running Make Contract will now link the Delivery Inspection ticket to the contract instead of the quote
